Detective Sharon Berry
Detective Sharon Berry is a police officer for GoAnimate City. She has the rank of Lieutenant.
Her first meeting with Caillou was due to his monitored use of magic mushrooms. She was also part of the investigation into the WYIP incident in which Caillou imitated Harry Smacks‘ voice, telling listeners about a NAMBLA meetup at GoAnimate High School. During Caillou and Dora’s stint in the Lords of Destruction gang, she sat shotgun while Paul the Cop chased the two in a stolen car. A short while later, Caillou would crash the car and was later arrested by her and Paul the Cop.
Det. Barry was present at the Cherry Bomb incident and alerted GNN viewers that Caillou and Dora were responsible. That was a ruse to let Caillou and Dora escape school and go to Chuck E. Cheese. Later, Caillou and Dora are caught and is present during the interrogation of the two. She would also make an appearance on GNN to tell viewers of the arrest of Ferd Farkat Sr.
During Caillou and Dora’s pranks at a GoAnimate City Walmart, Det. Barry, while off-duty, entered the security office and assisted with security, trying to catch Caillou and Dora. She was later present in Boris Anderson’s hospital room, telling her the man who attacked him had been arrested. She also brings Caillou into the room at Boris’s request, later to ground him.
Det. Berry is a no-nonsense officer. She rarely smiles and has gotten upset at Paul the Cop’s giggling at the name of Wayne Kerr Auto. Det. Barry has often called Caillou a brat and doesn’t care for his show. It is not known if Det. Barry is married, and she has a daughter.
Det. Barry is heavily influenced by Sharon Raydor of Major Crimes and The Closer, played by Mary McDonnell.
